BlackVue Cloud support for auto backup of Event videos (impacts, etc.), 5GB storage included in the Free plan and push notifications.

While most dash cams capture footage at a standard 8-bit depth, the ELITE 9's advanced 4K sensor records in a professional-grade 12-bit depth. This means that at the moment of capture, the camera's processor is working with a massive palette of over 68 billion colors. This rich data is then intelligently processed and compressed, resulting in a final 8-bit video file with superior color accuracy, smoother gradients, and exceptional detail, even in challenging high-contrast or low-light scenes. This process minimizes common video artifacts like color banding, ensuring that crucial details, like license plates or a vehicle's color, are captured with unparalleled fidelity.

  Weeks of protection with new Power Saving Mode

  Buffered Parking Mode:

  • Motion: records a 1-minute buffered video whenever a motion is detected by the front or rear camera.

  • Timelapse: records constantly at 1 frame per second so each 1 minute video covers 30 minutes of real time.

  In both modes, the dash cam also records buffered Event clips in case of impact (started 10 seconds before the action).

  Power Saving Parking Mode: 

  The dash cam wakes up on impact then goes back to standby mode after 1 min recording (buffered recording not supported).

  This mode combines two groundbreaking features:
  Ultra-low power consumption: Under 1mA, for weeks of standby time.
  Ultra-fast wakeup time: Under 1 second, for instant video capture in case of impact. 

  Provides up to several weeks of protection (up to two months) when hardwired to a vehicle’s battery and up to over 12 months when powered by a BlackVue Ultra Battery (B-130A or B-130X).
  Ideal when leaving your vehicle unattended for extended periods of time.

• Connectivity: Fast Wi-Fi and Optional LTE

  Wi-Fi: transfer videos to your phone with the BlackVue App. Download a max resolution video clip in about 20 seconds. Wi-Fi also lets your BlackVue connect to BlackVue Cloud via any home or mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (router). 

  LTE: connect the optional LTE connectivity module via the USB port for the best Cloud experience and use your BlackVue as a Wi-Fi hotspot to provide an in-car internet connection for up to five devices.

• Built-in voltage monitoring for vehicle battery protection

  Your ELITE dash cam can be hardwired to your vehicle’s electrical system with a simple optional Parking Mode accessory such as the Hardwire Kit or the OBD II Power Cable. The dash cam will switch to Parking Mode automatically when vehicle ignition is turned off. In Parking Mode, your BlackVue monitors the voltage of your vehicle’s battery to ensure it does not drain it and shut itself down when reaching the preset cutoff value. You can adjust the voltage cutoff and optional timer in the BlackVue App.
