VIOFO BP100 7650mAh Dash Cam Battery Pack for Parking Mode
Parking mode is only useful if your dashcam has a reliable power source after you switch off the engine.
The VIOFO BP100 provides that dedicated power source. Its 12.8V, 7650mAh LiFePO4 battery stores energy while you drive, then supplies your compatible VIOFO dashcam when the vehicle is parked. VIOFO rates it for up to approximately 32 hours of parking recording under a 3W single-channel test condition, although actual runtime depends on the dashcam, recording mode and power consumption.
The advantage is simple: your dashcam can continue monitoring the vehicle without relying on the car's main battery for parking mode.
The BP100 can be charged through a hardwired connection or cigarette lighter input, with a full charge taking approximately 70 minutes via hardwiring or 100 minutes via cigarette lighter. Built-in Bluetooth also lets you monitor battery status through the VIOFO app.
